We are doing a radio project for our last assessment of our second year at university, myself and Jared have decided to do The Voices Of Lincoln as our live show topic which we plan on getting some great interviews with some interesting people and find out things we’ve never known before. Our show will consist of the unexpected world of sound in Lincoln and some voices that you would not of thought were in Lincoln. We will show you some of the great venues and spots in Lincoln to go find some great speeches, poetry, music, and crying (town crier).
We plan to explain why some places are where they are as well as when and where to go to find some of them at prime moments, so far we have some good opinions from the public regarding Speakers Corner and some good interviews with the owner of the Jolly Brewer and an interview live with the founder of Spoken Word Night.
Our show hopes to teach you that their are other voices and sound around Lincoln that are more intellectual and historical then sites such as the “Club Scene” in Lincoln.
